League

The smallest fall from the account's peak. It rewards preserving capital.

#NicknameStarting balanceCurrent balanceReturn
1 tbedekovic 10,000.00 10,121.19 +1.21%

66 3.8 %

Amounts are in virtual USDT. The current balance is the sum of all accounts, at current prices, including open positions and bots.

How scoring works

It starts from 50 points, adds discipline, activity and a capped return, and subtracts drawdown.

You get on the list with your first filled order in the demo.

How points are calculated

Points measure how you trade, not just how much you earn. That is why a large return with a large drop does not lead to the top of the main list.

Points = 50 + discipline × 0.2 + filled orders × 2 + return − drawdown

The result is rounded to a whole number and stays between 0 and 100. This formula gives at most 90 points: 50 + 20 + 10 + 10.

Example: two competitors

ItemPerson APerson B
Starting points+50.00+50.00
Discipline 40 and 90+8.00+18.00

Return +25% and +6%+10.00+6.00
Drawdown 30% and 4%−30.00−4.00

Person A leads the Return list and person B the main list. Of a 25% return, only 10 enters the points.

1. Discipline: up to 20 points

Every account starts with a discipline of 80, which is worth 16 points. The value ranges from 0 to 100 and changes as follows:

  • +2The order that opens the position has a stop-loss, and the risk is up to 2% of the account.
  • −8The order has a stop-loss, but the risk is more than 2% of the account.
  • −4The order that opens the position has no stop-loss.
  • +1On Spot you place a sell stop, stop-limit or OCO. It is valid once per 24 hours per coin.
  • −20A Margin or Futures position has been liquidated.

Risk = quantity × distance to stop ÷ account value. On an account of 10,000 USDT you buy 2,000 USDT. A stop 5% below the entry means a risk of 100 USDT, or 1% of the account: +2. A stop 15% below the entry means 300 USDT, or 3% of the account: −8.

  • The account value is that of the account you trade on: Spot, Margin or Futures.
  • Discipline changes when you place the order, so the change is not reversed if you cancel the limit.
  • A stop added later does not erase the −4 for a purchase, but earns at most +1.

2. Activity: up to 10 points

Each filled order that opens or increases a position earns 2 points, but only the first five. That is why twenty orders are worth no more than five. Closing a position and bots do not count.

3. Return: from −10 to +10 points

Return is (current balance ÷ 10,000 − 1) × 100. One per cent is worth one point, and above 10% or below −10% the points no longer change. A return of +40% and a return of +10% earn the same.

4. Drawdown: subtracted with no cap

Each per cent of drawdown subtracts one point. This item does not recover when the account recovers.

Three lists

  • Main: ranking by points.
  • Return: ranking by return only, highest first.
  • Drawdown: ranking by largest drop, smallest first.

The formula is simplified and may change. The league is a game with virtual money, and a good result in it does not guarantee a result with real money.

What drawdown means

Drawdown is the largest fall in the total value of an account from its previous peak, expressed as a percentage. It measures how far the account fell at most on the way to the result.

Drop from peak = (account peak − current balance) ÷ account peak × 100

The league column shows the largest drop that has ever occurred, not the current one. That number can only grow or stay the same, even when the account recovers.

Step-by-step example

BalanceHighFallDrawdownReturn
10,00010,0000.0 %0.0 %0.0%
12,00012,0000.0 %0.0 %+20.0%
10,20012,00015.0 %15.0 %+2.0%
12,60012,6000.0 %15.0 %+26.0%
11,97012,6005.0 %15.0 %+19.7%

A fall from 12,000 to 10,200 is 1,800, and 1,800 ÷ 12,000 = 15%. The account is then still 2% above the start, but the drawdown is 15%. A later fall of 5% does not change the figure because it is smaller than the existing 15%. That account loses 15 points.

Why it matters

After a fall, a larger percentage rise is needed to get back to the peak, because the rise is calculated on a smaller amount.

  • Fall 10%A rise of 11.11% is needed to recover.
  • Fall 20%A rise of 25.00% is needed to recover.
  • Fall 30%A rise of 42.86% is needed to recover.
  • Fall 50%A rise of 100.00% is needed to recover.
  • Fall 80%A rise of 400.00% is needed to recover.

What goes into the calculation

  • All accounts together: Funding, Trading, Margin, Futures, Bots and the practice wallet.
  • Open positions at the current price, so a fall is counted even without selling.
  • Fees, interest and funding, because they reduce the account balance.
  • A transfer between accounts does not change the drawdown because the total balance stays the same. A practice withdrawal reduces the balance only by the network fee.

The balance is checked once a minute and each time you open the page while logged in, so a brief drop between two checks may not be recorded.

Do not confuse this term with a liquidity pull (rug pull) from the school. That is a scam in which the project's authors withdraw money from the pool, and it has nothing to do with a fall in your account.
